The Cowichan Food Connection is a registered charity assisting those in our community who need a little extra help providing food for themselves and/or their families.
 

We are a completely non profit organization and all of our members are volunteers. The Bread Van has been operating since 1996.
 

All donations are tax deductible and are used for fuel and vehicle maintenance.
 

 

Simply stated – we pick up bread and bakery items and deliver them to locations where people in need can access the food with a measure of privacy and dignity. Deliveries go to convenient locations where they are most needed.
 

Hunger is something that most people view as a problem in a far off country, but it is a reality right in our neighbourhood.We rely on everyday people for help. Any amount is appreciated and goes toward fighting hunger in our communities.
